Tecsar’s process expertise includes the design, development and analysis of process engineering solutions. Our process group contributes to all phases of the project life cycle from conceptual ideas through to detailed engineering, start-up support and troubleshooting.
Conceptual Design
Tecsar’s involvement in projects often begins as early as idea development where proper alternative and technology evaluation is critical to the success of the overall project. Our strength in front end and conceptual process engineering include Project scoping, Evaluation of process alternatives, Feasibility and preliminary studies, Process flowsheet development, Technology assessment and selection, Project performance requirement, Critical operating parameters & Evaluation of process alternatives.
Process Designs
Our process designs have developed solutions for plant debottlenecking/optimization, loading/offloading systems, distillation trains, fired heaters, emissions control, heat transfer/economization, improved process control, utility balances, cooling water systems, site wide overpressure protection studies, etc… These designs include full sizing and performance specification of pumps, exchangers, control valves, piping, vessels, towers and instruments.
Process Control
Our Process Engineers actively support Process Control Systems on all projects by providing detailed DCS Control, and PLC interlock narratives.
